Ingredients:
1 lb 80/20 ground beef
Spring Smoke Seasoning
1 Yellow Onion, sliced (optional)
1 Tomato, sliced (optional)
Iceberg Lettuce, shredded or leaf (optional)
Neutral Oil (I use Avacodo Oil, but Vegetable or Canola is fine)
Cheese of your choice (I use sharp cheddar and slice it myself, but pre-sliced or processed is fine)
Directions:
Heat a cast iron skillet or griddle over medium heat.
Make 4- 1/4 lb patties. By hand is fine, but I use a burger press.
Season both sides generously with Spring Smoke.
Add 1 - 2 tbsp of oil to the skillet or griddle.
Place hamburger patties to the skillet.
Place wax paper on top of the patties and use spatula to smash.
Cook for a minute and a half on both sides.
Add cheese to top of the patties and cook until melted.
Remove from heat.
Place two patties on a bun with your preferred condiments and toppings.
Serve with Summer Heat Fries.
Enjoy!
